Speech Pathologists

Speech Pathologists who qualified outside Australia or New Zealand will be required to have their qualifications assessed by Speech Pathology Australia or the New Zealand Speech and Language Therapists Association. Their respective addresses are as follows;

You will be required to submit certified copies of your degree, and course transcripts which detail subjects undertaken and the clinical and theory hours of each. Please ensure that all the requested documentation is included with your application.

Queensland is the only Australian state that requires you to register with the Speech Pathology Board before you can practice. If it is your intention to work in Queensland you should contact them directly for an application form. (speechpathology@healthregboards.qld.gov.au)
